Ocean City Maryland Engagement

If I told you to guess which app brought Kyle and Courtney together I bet you wouldn’t be able to guess it! I mean try, before reading any further drop your guesses in the comments below!

Ok Now back to the story! It was July 20th 2019 and Courtney was a teacher. Since it was the summer time she wanted to supplement her income and was driving for Lyft (did you guess correctly?). On this fateful July afternoon she turned on the app and Kyle was the first ride to come in. She picked him up for about a 20 minute ride. They ended up spending the entire ride talking to each other as if they had known each other for years. When they arrived at his destination Kyle asked if Courtney would like to get coffee sometime and she hesitantly gave him her number. Just as a side note, Courtney was actually dropping him off for a date, but they ended up texting the whole time. So obviously that date was not meant to be! Haha

About two weeks later the two met up at a local coffee shop for their first date! Kyle was fashionably early and Courtney was fashionably late. Courtney told me that she does not remember who or what was in the coffee shop because when they sat down and started talking everything became a blur except for Kyle. They were so focused on each other that nothing else mattered. So much so that the coffee date turned into a walk, a trip to the dog park, and then a visit to a local carnival. Their first date lasted 10 hours and well the rest is history!

With a first date like that it is no wonder that the hours just flew by while we ran around Ocean City Maryland for their engagement session. We started the session off at Assateague Island chasing the waves and then headed to the boardwalk. We ended the day with ferris wheel rides, winning a whole bunch of stuffed animals, and watching the sunset. To say I had fun with these two would be an understatement! So excited to be with them for their special day in St Thomas!! LETS GO 2022!
