Asheville North Carolina Waterfall Anniversary

Here today on the blog we have a real life Covid love story! Nothing like a global pandemic to help people find love! Haha but seriously if we had to go through 2020, I am so glad there are stories like Bryce and Larisa’s that came from that crazy year. Bryce and Larisa lived in the same apartment complex but probably would have never met if quarantine had not happened. One day Larisa did a workout in her apartment since everything was closed but wanted to get some sunshine before she showered so she headed outside onto her terrace that backed up to a golf course. Bryce, who also lived on the ground floor and who also had just worked out, was about to make some food when he noticed Larisa laying out. He immediately put his food away and headed out to start up a conversation with her. They hung out a few times and then Larisa gave him the “I am not looking for a relationship” speech. Bryce was very respectful of that but it did not take Larisa long to figure out she really liked this guy!

Fast forward to August 2021 and we headed up to the Mountains to capture some 1 year anniversary photos! We started at a beautiful waterfall which we had practically to ourselves and then we were going to head up to hike Black Balsam trail. From the time I checked the night before and when we were about to leave the waterfall, the park had closed the section of the Blue ridge parkway we needed to use to get to the trail head. Thankfully the whole parkway is just beautiful so we found some spots along the way and finished the day off with some wine and a cake smash because why not!
