Norfolk Neon District Engagement

I sometimes hear of stories of couples who have had chance meetings having no prior connection to each. They fall in love and their two worlds collide. But more often than not I hear stories like Mike & Giselle’s. I hear of couple knowing each other for years before they start to like each other or they have been running in the same circles without having met and then once they do the rest as they say is history. And that is exactly what happened to these two. Mike & Giselle ran in similar circles and even went to the same church for years before they met in a science class in Bible collage. They began texting and hanging out in groups with their mutual friends and after a first date to the Virginia aquarium they have been together ever since!

I have personally known these two separately for years and once they got engaged I was so happy to capture these engagement photos for them! We originally planned to go to the mountains for their session, but we change it last minute to the Neon District in Norfolk Virginia! This area in Norfolk is covered in amazing mural and colorful walls. You kind of just have to walk around and explore to see the best spots and we had the best time doing just that! Although these two would have killed it in any location I am glad we made the switch because after the session Giselle said how this just felt more like their style and I couldn’t agree more!
