Frank Sinatra Estate Malibu Wedding
Tara is a California girl and Ari is from New Zealand. The these two’s world collided after Ari made the move to LA to purse acting, the rest as they say is history. For their Wedding Tara and Ari would have friends and family coming from all around the world to celebrate! Wanting to make the most of having all their loved ones all in one place they planned a chic backyard wedding at the Frank Sinatra Mansion in Woodland Hills LA. Wanting the whole day to be relaxed and focused on being together rather than an event, they made the day beautiful, but casual. Instead of having everyone sit in chairs for their short and sweet ceremony they just had everyone gather around them and surround them with love as they said I do! For their reception they set up the backyard for a chic California picnic and had everyone bring their own picnic dinner!! Now you might be like, that is a little weird bringing your own dinner to a wedding BUT I LOVE THIS IDEA!! The reason I love this so much is because it is less stress for the Bride & Groom and as a guest you are not stuck with the typical chicken wedding meal! Everyone got to bring exactly what they wanted to eat for dinner and enjoy it! I saw everything from huge salads shared between family members, McDonalds, sushi, and so much more! Then everyone got to just relax and enjoy each others company!
Now I cannot end this blog without talking about their cake topper for a minute! If you scroll down to their cake photos you might be like what the heck?!? What is the story behind this?! Here is the story behind why they chose to top their cake with a blue power ranger and Lara croft from tomb Raider. It actually super simple and kind of perfect all at once. You see Ari played the blue Power ranger in the 2009 Power Ranger RPM tv series and Tara was the person they used to body scan to create the Laura croft doll. So you see it was them on top of the cake in their superhero form! Haha how fun is that?!?
This day was filled with great views of the mountains, lots of friends & family, and a ton of love!
