Hermosa Beach California Engagement

If you have been following my blog you will recognize these two from their San Diego proposal story I posted not too long along. Click here to see that blog post! So for those of you that have not seen the blog post and did not click the link… Daniel contacted me back in January about coming out to LA to capture his proposal to Lexi on the very same beach where they had their first EVER COUPLE PHOTO TAKEN. Yeah so sweet!  Of course I was totally on board with the plan and it was a huge success! Lexi SAID YES and I got to capture that sweet moment! Afterwards we took a few minutes to pop champagne and take a few photos and then Daniel & Lexi went off to dinner to soak in the moment.  Since I was going to be in LA for the weekend, Daniel and I had already arranged to do a full engagement shoot later on. Daniel Proposed on Friday, He threw a surprise engagement party with friends and family on Saturday, and then on Sunday we did their engagement session! Daniel & Lexi are both very active so I told them beforehand that if they wanted to incorporate any fun activities into their shoot I would be down! They loved that ideas and decided to bring their long boards to the beach! We headed to Hermosa Beach which is just a few blocks from where they live. We played around with the long boards on the boardwalk and avoided running into anyone! Haha They then ran home real quick to change into their second outfit. Once they were back we headed down towards the water as the sun started to set. Thankfully it was January when this all went down and it was like we had the beach all to ourselves. We danced, played in the water, and stayed out there until it was completely dark! 

It was so fun to have Daniel and Lexi in front of the camera and it was a great way to wrap up a jam packed weekend of celebrating their engagement.
