Malibu California Mountain Couple Session

I am going to be really honest… I am a sporadic blogger! There it is I said it!! Haha No, but seriously I got behind on blogging last year and now trying to catch back up, it’s a toss up on whether I am blogging a current session or a past session! Today we have a past session from last November when I was in California! Last fall my youngest brother and I took a road trip out west and went all over. We started in Los Angeles drove to Las Vegas, then we went to Zion National Park in Utah and back to Vegas. Then from Las Vegas we drove to Sequoia National Park in Northern California then out to Big Sur to see the coastline. We drove back down to Los Angeles along Highway 1 and finished the trip spending a few days in LA with friends! Needless to say it was an amazing trip with some ABSOLUTELY STUNNING VIEWS!  While we were in LA I got to meet up with these two cuties in Malibu one evening!! We decided not to hit up the beach, but go explore the mountains in Malibu so we went to Malibu Creek State Park for our location and it did not disappoint! A little farther inland from the coast this Park is tucked in the Mountains and made for an absolute stunning backdrop to capture Mya and Nathaniel! We hiked a little ways into the park and found a valley completely surrounded by mountains. With the sun streaming over the mountain ridge we had the valley basically to ourselves! It was such a great time capturing these two and their love for each other. We ended the session with Nathaniel bringing out his guitar and serenading Mya as the sun fell behind the mountains. It was the perfect Malibu evening!
