Virginia Beach First Landing State park Engagement

Savannah and Ryan met one magical Sunday in church! Savannah was in ministry school and serving on the worship team when she notice Ryan on the front row! She figure he was a guest speaker and was married with kids and totally unavailable. As soon as she got off stage she asked everyone who he was because she just needed to know!! Ryan had moved from Delaware to North Carolina (where Savannah was) to become a firefighter. After graduating from the academy, he wandered into a gym where he met a pastor. This pastor invited him to church and Ryan accepted! The first time Ryan stepped into this church he came face to face with the most beautiful woman ever created a.k.a SAVANNAH! As fate would have it these two were introduced after the service and thankfully for Savannah, Ryan was not in fact married with kids! Haha They soon became best friends and then graduated to boyfriend and girlfriend! Now they get to call each other Fiancé and pretty soon Husband and Wife!! For their engagement session, Savannah and Ryan drove up to Virginia Beach to meet me! We decided on First Landing State Park for their session, which is a great park that offers both beach and wooded areas to shoot in. We met up the last Friday in February and even though it was still winter we had a fairly warm day! Because it was still winter time we pretty much had the park all to ourselves! It was so fun getting to capture these two as we explored the trails and ran on the beach! We hung out until the sunset over the water and it was a great day! At the start of their session these two told me they were so awkward in front of a camera, but I beg to differ! I mean look at the proof below!
