Lici and Alex’s love story is one of friendship, timing, and fate. It all began in a college class where they found themselves seated next to one another. What started as a simple friendship soon blossomed into something deeper, as they spent more time together and discovered how much they had in common. Alex’s feelings for Lici grew stronger, and after some time, he confessed his love for her. To his delight, Lici felt the same, and their relationship began to flourish. Two years later, they are just as happy, if not more, than when they first started dating. Their connection is undeniable, and it’s clear that their love has only grown since that fateful day in class.
After Alex proposed to Lici, the couple had dreams of planning a beautiful, elaborate wedding. But there was an important factor to consider — Lici is originally from Brazil. This meant they needed to start the process of applying for a green card, which can be a time-consuming and complex procedure. So, instead of waiting until all of the legalities were sorted out, Lici and Alex made the decision to get legally married in a simple ceremony. This would allow them to begin the green card application process while still planning for the celebration of their dreams. They chose to make this moment special by exchanging their vows in an intimate, private way, just the two of them.
