Uptown Charlotte Classy Engagement

This session was so fun with Jackie & Kevin in Uptown Charlotte! Because a lot of my photo shoots are in the mountains, it is always fun to change it up. Jackie found me through her soon-to-be sister-in-law, Shannon, who is a friend of mine. Thanks, Shannon! When Jackie reached out, she had a clear vision of what they wanted their shoot to be, and I was down for it. Within her vision, she trusted me with how best to capture it, which is a photographer's dream!

We met up in the city with all our locations pre-planned. The first stop was outside La Belle Helene, where you can find this beautiful light installation on the ceiling. From there, we walked and wandered around, stopping at spots we liked. Once we got what we wanted at our first location, we all hopped in one car to drive to our next destination by all the government buildings. If you want column aesthetics, this is the spot for you! Thankfully, we were shooting on a Sunday, so absolutely no one was around. Our 3rd location (after a quick outfit change) was Crunkleton for a quick champagne toast! We ended the session on top of a parking garage for a stunning view of the city. Jackie wanted a few shots with a veil in her last outfit, and I said why not! If you are reading this and about to get engagement photos done, please do whatever you want to do for them. Do not be worried about what other people will think! They are your engagement photos! Ok, back to the session now. These two are the bomb, and I cannot wait for their wedding this summer! You best believe you will find Shannon and me out on the dance floor celebrating the heck out of these two all night long!
