Knotts Island Summer Wedding
About two weeks before September 2nd, I had a fellow photographer reach out to me to see if I was available for that date. She had a bride inquiring who was in a jam, but she was already booked. I was about to head out to California for a few weeks, and just so happened to have September 2nd free. That is when I was introduced to Addie & Tommy! Their original wedding photographer had an amazing opportunity to shoot in Japan, and I am so glad I got to fill in the gap for these two!! Tommy & Addie began dating in middle school and were so excited to tie the knot!! They had found the perfect location just over the North Carolina boarder in Knotts Island. If you are in need of a wedding venue, check out the the Flyway Lodge! It has tons of space, a gorgeous renovated barn, and it is right on the water!
September 2nd, 2018 was one for the books. Tommy & Addie said I do surrounded by friends and family. They had a private sunset dinner overlooking the water, and danced the night away under the stars. And I am so glad I was the one that had the honor of capturing it all!
